New SEMSA Violin/Viola Teacher

The board made arrangements to meet Mr. Falú at the 17th SAA Conference over Memorial Weekend. Judy Hickey and Sherry Jester joined Barbara Bartleson, Laura Geisler, and Linda Thompson for dinner with Mr. Falú one evening. Then we brought him back to Rochester to get a glimpse of our fair city. He plans to move here in August after he completes his current commitments in Portland, OR.

Mr. Falu grew up in Puerto Rico and he has a Bachelors in Music in Viola Performance from Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico- San Juan, PR and a Masters in Music from The University of Akron- Akron, OH. He has completed several units of violin and viola training as well as Every Child Can and Early Childhood Classes.
