SEMSA Presents Gasshuku at Eagle Bluff 2016
SEMSA will host a music workshop, Gasshuku at Eagle Bluff 2016, on November 11th and 12th at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center in Lanesboro, MN. Twelve guest clinicians will instruct 135-150 student musicians, in addition to 100 parents and 12 music teachers. Participating students will range from beginning ‘twinkle’ students through advanced high school students; attending students study bass, cello, flute, harp, piano, viola, and violin.
Musical instrument clinicians will challenge the students with a variety of ideas and techniques that students can use to develop their skills and their understanding of creating music.
Learning to play a musical instrument well is a rewarding, but demanding task. It requires daily practice, weekly lessons, and year round dedication. A music workshop adds excitement to the learning routine for both the student and parent.
Registration materials for Gasshuku will be available in May. The Gasshuku brochure and registration forms will be available from your child's lesson teacher or at the SEMSA group lessons in May.
